Q. Do you have a printed catalog?
A. No, a printed catalog would be very costly. Seashells4u.com is a small business and we keep our prices low by only offering an online catalog.

Q. Does this online catalog show every seashell and gift item you sell?
A. No. Our main focus of business is unique seashell-themed gift items and tropical décor. We do have access to more shells than are pictured. If
there is a specific shell you are looking for, please E-mail a request and we will respond with pricing and availability.

Q. How often does the selection in your store change?
A. Seashells4u.com is an evolving business. We are currently developing several home furnishings including: tables, bar stools, and an electrified
wall sconce using a real clam shell for the shade. As these items are completed, we will add them to our website. Please sign the guest book and we
will notify you when new gifts & furnishings are added.

Q. If I sign the Guest Book, do you share my contact information with any third person?
A. Seashells4u.com takes your privacy very seriously. Your contact information is never shared with any third person, company, individual, or web site.

Q. Do you offer gift wrap?
A. No. Seashells4u.com is a very poor gift-wrapper. We don’t sing in public, either. Seashells4u.com is an honest, ethical business. As such, we only
offer to do things we can do well. We leave the gift wrapping, and singing, in your capable hands.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. All sales are final. We only offer the highest quality items and have never, ever received a complaint about any products we sell. Most clients are
repeat customers and we hope you will be, too.

Q. Is there a telephone support number for any inquiries?
A. At this time, Seashells4u.com is a part-time business, as our volume of sales is not high enough to cover the mortgage, the car payment, and also
fund annual tropical vacations. Most of our time is spent out of the office, earning a paycheck OR – in the workshop, developing new products to sell.
The best way to reach us is to send an E-mail with your inquiry, and include your name, phone number, and a window of time to call you. We prefer
to phone you and pay the toll charge. Please try E-mail first, as it is the most efficient way to reach us. (Ok - here is a # too! 760-525-6650 )

Q. I thought the Tridacna Gigas (Giant Clam Shell) was illegal to collect or sell?
A. The Giant Clam is protected from wild reef harvesting, under the order of C.I.T.E.S. (the Convention on International Trade of Endangered
Species). CITES is an international treaty to protect wildlife against over-exploitation and to prevent international trade from threatening species with
extinction. Giant clams are no longer legal to collect in the wild.

The Giant Clam shells sold by Seashells4u.com are imported from a closely inspected aquaculture farm. Many cultures consider the meat of the
clam a delicacy, and the primary purpose of these farms is to raise clams for the meat. The shell itself is simply a by-product of the farm.
Aquaculture farms are strictly regulated and controlled. Free swimming larvae from the giant clams raised on the farms add to, and increase, the
native populations in the wild. Seashells4u.com meets all the environmental criteria established by CITES. Prior to importation, the shells are
inspected at the USA Port of Entry by the Fish and Wildlife Agency to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Q. How do I place my order?
A. You may place your order by phone, fax, or E-mail.  PHONE & FAX: Order forms available on the website.   E-MAIL:  Send your order to
lorri@seashells4u.com. We will confirm the availability of the item, and expected shipping date. Please include your name and phone number.

Q. How can I pay for my purchase?
A. We accept Mastercard and VISA, and American Express.

Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. If all items you ordered are in stock, we will charge your card after receiving the order. If an item you ordered is still in the seashell warehouse, we
will not charge your credit card until we have confirmed the product is available, or ready to ship.  We will confirm an expected shipping date at
the time your order is placed.

Q. Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?
A. No sales tax is charged on orders which are shipped to addresses outside the State of California. Seashells4u.com is required by State law to
charge a 7 ¾% sales tax to orders shipped within California.

Q. Do you ship orders outside of USA?
A. Although we can take orders from anywhere in the world, we regret that we are currently unable to ship to locations outside the United States.

Q. What happens if I place my order and the item is not in stock?
A. While we make every effort to maintain an ample supply of our products, occasionally we are out-of-stock on popular selling items. Also, some of
the larger seashells are kept in the warehouse until ordered. If your order cannot be shipped within a few days, we will tell you how soon we expect
to receive your order.

Q. What shipping methods can I choose from, when I place my order?
A. The most economical way to ship is using FedExGround. If your order weighs more than three (3) pounds, that is the method we will use. For very
light orders or small items, we will use USPS Priority Mail. ALL ORDERS ARE INSURED, for your protection.

Q. How does Seashells4u.com calculate shipping charges?
A. We charge you the same amount the shipper charges us. We never add any silly “handling” or packaging fees. We can not tell you exactly how
much the shipping charge will be until we pack your order. And we do not prepack any orders before payment is established.

When you place your order, Seashells4u.com will give you an estimate as to how much shipping will cost. Because this cost is figured on weight,
you may also go to the FedEx website www.fedex.com and calculate the rates yourself.

The only exception is the Giant Clam Shell. Shipping costs (and sales tax for California residents) is already figured into the price. Shipping costs
for all other items are figured when we pack your order.

Q. How soon after I place my order will it be shipped?
A. Most orders ship in 1 to 3 days. We will confirm a ship date when we confirm your order.

Q. What if my order breaks during shipment?
A. Seashells4u.com strives to pack all orders securely. However, once the package leaves our hands, we cannot be responsible for mishandling by
the carrier. This is why we insure all orders. If one or more items breaks in transit, please notify Seashells4u.com within 3 days of receiving the box
and together, we will initiate a claim.
